ABOUT CANADIENSNET
The History
Founded in 1998, HabsCentral began as a very primitive Montreal Canadiens fan-site; the work of a web programmer in his beginning stages. In 2000, HabsCentral became TMCN (The Montreal Canadiens Network) and progressed in depth, design, and content. As the website expanded and became more widely known, the name started to move across the Web and TMCN grew in popularity as traffic to the website rose.

TMCN was renamed to CanadiensNet in early 2001 and the TMCN website was completely overhauled. Barely two years after the fact, the CanadiensNet website project was put on hold indefinitely. Now, in 2008 CanadiensNet is reborn. The new and improved website, with its new looks, functionality, and image, is back to bring the premier Montreal Canadiens news and media to all fans of Le Tricolore.
